Baby pHisoderm Tear-Free Gel Wash

I am a sucker for baby-smelling products. But since the birth of my son, I’ve tried to be more mindful about what my husband and I use on our baby given the concern that many yummy-smelling skincare lines may contain phthalates (a potentially harmful chemical found in plastics and is used in baby-care products to help retain their fragrance). So when I tried pHisoderm’s Baby pHisoderm Tear-Free Gel Wash I was pleasantly surprised: it had a subtle powder-fresh scent but is phthalate-free. Even the packaging is free of phthalates.

When it came time to bathe my son, I squeezed a quarter-size dollop of the gel cleanser onto a washcloth and went to work. It did the trick of cleaning (without stripping his delicate baby skin) and left a pleasant, subtle “baby” scent all over. And the product even stood up to my one-year-old’s vigorous attempts to turn bath time into a high-seas adventure. As promised, it was “tear-free” smooth sailing.

Be sure to come back on February 23 because we’ll be giving away the Gel Wash in a great gift bag from pHisoderm!

I use the Baby Phisoderm cream wash on my 10-month old & love it. How long can you use this on babies? I want to make sure she is getting as clean but without the harsh effects of soap. She has such sensitive skin that I am hesitant to try anything else.
