It appears as though the twin boys actor Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller Sheen expect on April 26th are anxious to make an early arrival! Brooke, 31, was hospitalized in Los Angeles on Tuesday with early contractions, a rep for the couple confirms. Noting that pre-term labor is “not all that uncommon for someone at this stage of pregnancy, especially with twins,” the statement adds,

“She’s fine and is expected to be discharged from the hospital [Wednesday].”

The boys will be Brooke’s first children and Charlie’s fourth and fifth; He’s already dad to 4 ½-year-old Sam and 3 ½-year-old Lola Rose with ex-wife Denise Richards, and 24-year-old Cassandra from a previous relationship.

Brooke’s pregnancy was announced in August. They will celebrate their baby shower this upcoming weekend.

last year i was due with my baby girl on april 22, and had her on february 2. she was 1 lb 15 oz and spent 84 days in nicu, but now she’s a almost 20 lb crawling 1 year old who had managed to rip both my shift keys off my laptop. so good luck to brooke even if she had those babies now i believe they will all be okay, those hospitals and nicus are awesome

Darn! She’s due the day before me but I’ve only got one baby so she’s gonna have her boys way before I have my girl.

Judging from the way she looks in that picture, like me, she’s soooo over being pregnant at this point, heh.

Aw pregnancy with twins can be hard. Isabellasmama good for you i’m glad to hear your daughter is healthy and fine after being born 2 and a half months early. (btw i love the name isabella) ! ASsuming that Brooke is getting out of the hospital I don’t think she is gonna have those babies till the first week in march.

I went into preterm labor at 29 weeks with my twins and delivered them at 35 weeks. They had to stay in the hospital an extra two days after I was discharged which was very heartbreaking. I HATED leaving without my babies:( They both came home on heart monitors for the first eight months and they will be 3 on March 11!!!!!

Best of luck to Brooke and Charlie:)

I truly hope it all turns out okay for her. It’s never easy dealing with preemie twins. Mine were born at 36 weeks and had to stay in the NICU for about a week. I think the most stressful part was feeling tired, hormonal and sore and being told that my babies weren’t yet ready to leave the hospital. Makes you feel sort of helpless.

Oh, Brooke, I feel your pain. I was in the hospital twice with preterm contractions with our twins. But by the time they would be considered “full term”, there was no labor in sight! I guess they were happy in there! Keep on baking those babies! They need every day you can give them in there! Looking forward to seeing pics of those babies! Not til April, tho!
