Sheryl Crow and Her Little Valentine

Sheryl Crow totes her main man — son Wyatt Steven, 21 months — while out and about in Los Angeles, Calif. on Valentine’s Day.

Sheryl, 47, just came off tour in December and says her “little roadie” has adjusted to the nomadic lifestyle just fine.

“Wyatt’s been just wonderfully adaptive on the road,” she explains. “I’d love to say my life has totally changed, but it hasn’t actually changed that much. He’s just kind of gotten on board. He’s an amazing little guy in that he’s very social.”

Wyatt is so handsome. Honestly, he doesn’t even look like he’s adopted to me. I think he resembles Sheryl! I mean, yes, I know he is adopted, but oddly, I see a resemblance!

is it me…..or does it look like, maybe, she, and i dont know LANCE ARMSTRONG had maybe a surrogate carry that baby, and after the split it was announced as an “adoption” (a mututal decision?)
I wouldnt believe someone if they said it wasnt his………

I do see some resemblance CeCe! I know he’s adopted too, but maybe it is because he’s got some of her expressions? I mean, maybe that look on his face, he could have got it from her.. Well, I don’t know if that makes sense at all, but if I didn’t know he was adopted I would have believed he is her biological child. He’s so cute! And she seems SO happy! I wish them both all the happiness in the world!

If he’s Lance’s kid, then why does Lance never see him? And why does he never acknowledge him in interviews? And why would Sheryl lie about him being adopted?

I don’t think Sheryl would show him in public so much if he was her biological son. She told the world he was adopted so with people having eyes and the chance Wyatt may look like herself and/or Lance, I don’t see her taking the risk of looking like a liar. That being said, sometimes non- biological kids seem to start to favor their parents. I grew up in foster care and was constantly told I favored my longterm foster mother.

Lee- Very good point about adopted kids sometimes resembling their adoptive parents. Zahara Jolie-Pitt, for example, resembles Angie a lot (particularly in her lips and eyes).

Anyway, this actually reminds me of when Suri Cruise was a baby and lots of people were claiming that Chris Klein was her real father…just because they thought she looked like him and not like Tom (a few people even claimed that Josh Hartnett must be her father because she looked just like him. That one actually made sense, though, as Josh Hartnett looks a little like a younger Tom Cruise!)! Now that Suri has gotten older, it’s obvious that Tom is her father (although yes, at times she DOES look like a mini-Katie!)!

Also, when Ruby Maguire was younger lots of people (myself included) commented that she looked a lot like Shiloh. Lots of people (again, myself included), have also commented that Sasha Scrieber looks like a younger, male version of Shiloh, and that Everly Kiedis looks like a younger, male version of Suri. Obviously we know that none of those kids are related to each other (unless it’s very, very distantly!)!

My point is, kids can and do sometimes resemble people they aren’t related to!

My life sure changed since having a baby…as have all my friends!
