Daughters Help Russell Simmons Accept Honor

Hip-hop music producer and businessman Russell Simmons accepts the NAACP’s prestigious Vanguard trophy — with a little help from daughters Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6 ½! –  at the NAACP Image Awards on Thursday evening.

Russell, 51, was honored for helping to increase understanding of racial and social issues. As the co-founder of Def Jam Recordings, he was cited for using the power of hip-hop culture to inspire American youth.

Ming and Aoki’s mom is Russell’s ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons, who is currently expecting her third child.

Aw that’s a cute picture. Russell and Kimora’s daughters are beautiful. I think the older one looks like him (same face), but has Kimora’s nose, and the younger one has his nose and Kimora’s face structure.

I wonder if Kimora’s third child is a boy or a girl? Either way it’s going to add another beautiful child to the family.

The younger one is just as tall as her big sis and they are 3 1/2 years apart…She is gonna be a tall girl. They are gorgeous girls.

i think both ming lee and aoki lee looks exactly like russell…aoki lee has kimora’s outspoken personality, while ming lee is more reserved like her father…aoki is much much more outspoken than ming lee…it’s amazing how they are so much different in personalities…aoki isn’t afraid to say whatever is on her mind, where ever she may be..lol..they are definitely daddy’s girls!

The girls are adorable, but I could easily say that Aoki gets her outspoken nature from her dad, too. He’s not always reserved, and he has a mouth on him, sometimes a dirty one…lol. I’d almost be willing to say Ming takes after her uncle Joe (Rev Run). He can have his moments, but he’s not very wild.

Emma_rose the baby Kimora is carrying now is with her new boyfriend Djimon Housou(I think that’s how it’s spelled-someone correct me if I’m wrong) and from the pictures I’ve seen of her lately I would guess this new baby is a boy but who knows LOL.
