Kevin Costner Welcomes Son Hayes Logan

Congratulations to Kevin Costner and wife Christine! The couple welcomed son Hayes Logan Costner last night, Thursday, February 12th, in Los Angeles. Baby boy weighed in at 8 lbs., 15 oz. Kevin recently told AP Radio he wanted to name the baby Hayes after a cowboy character in a Western he’s planning to film, as he believes Hayes is a “great Western name.”

The couple announced the pregnancy in October, confirming their baby was a boy later that month.

Hayes joins Kevin, 54, and Christine’s son Cayden Wyatt, 21 months, and Kevin’s children Annie, 24, Lily, 22, Joe, 20, and Liam, 12, from previous relationships.

Congrats to the whole family, big brothers and sisters galore! Not massively keen on the name really. The elder Costner children have such beautiful classic names, but Cayden and Hayes are a total departure from that. I wonder if Christine got the final say lol. I must say though, it’s nice that Hayes has a story behind his name, even though I’m not a fan of it.
