Dave and Jordyn Grohl Expecting Second Daughter

Sounds like Dave Grohl is thinking pink — he told Rolling Stone at the Grammys over the weekend that the baby he and wife Jordyn Blum Grohl are expecting this spring is a second daughter! It also seems that Jordyn is due in April/early May, as Dave says she’s currently seven months along.

Baby girl Grohl will join big sister Violet Maye, turning 3 in April. There’s another Foo in the oven as well — drummer Taylor Hawkins and his wife just announced that they are expecting their second child.

Aww. I was kind of thinking/hoping it was another girl! Violet is so cute, and it’ll give Foo Fighters camp some more estrogen hehe. All the other Foos have boys,

Looks like Violet will have some back up against all those boys now then! I seriously can’t wait for this one, I wonder if her name will be as classic and beautiful as her big sister’s?

Congrats to Dave and Jordyn! I am a big fan of the Foo Fighters, and I thought Dave did a great job playing drums with Paul McCartney, another one of my favorite music makers. Good luck y’all and keep making great music!
