Mira Sorvino Expecting Baby No. 3!

Mira Sorvino and her husband of four years, actor Christopher Backus, are expecting their third child together. Per a statement issued this evening to major magazines, the couple share that they are “overjoyed at the thought of welcoming a new addition to the family,” adding,

“With each child, the love in our hearts has expanded beyond what we ever imagined was possible.”

Mira, 41, and Chris, 27, are already parents to daughter Mattea Angel, 4, and son Johnny Christopher King, 2 ½.

Mira, who won an Academy Award for Mighty Aphrodite, recently appeared in the miniseries The Last Templar and will next be seen in Life On Mars.

I saw her on regis and kelly and the today show recently, and thought she looked pregnant. I’m guessing a little girl for her. Anyway I love her kids names, so looking forward to seeing what this one will be named.

Its great news,I didnt realise there was such a big age gap with Mira and Chris
I love love love the name MATTEA,though my hubby wasnt as keen during both pregnancies so it is a secret name that I still LOVE!!!

I wish them every happiness… they seem like great loving parents to their two kids and I have no doubt that will continue with number 3.

I love how she’s been able to choose to take time away from her career to just enjoy being a full-time mom, too, cause I know her kids will forever be grateful for that.

There is a big age difference, but he seems like he is very mature for his age…most 27 year old males I know, dont really want to settle down yet.
