Kimora Lee Simmons announced her pregnancy in her own way — stepping out in a maternity dress and occasionally resting her hand on her stomach — at Saturday night’s Pre-Grammy Gala & Salute to Industry Icons with Clive Davis, held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Posing with actor beau Djimon Hounsou, Kimora glowed in a satin gown with rosette detailing.

The Baby Phat designer, 33, is mom to daughters Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6 ½, with ex-husband Russell Simmons. This will be the first child for Djimon.

Kimora wears A Pea in the Pod’s ABS Collection Sleeveless Empire Seam Maternity Dress in Mink ($495).

They look really happy, and that’s awesome. One thing is for sure, that baby is going to be tall. How tall is Kimora? I’d love to have her height!

Hi Ariana, that’s my daughter’s name…same spelling too!

Such a gorgeous dress!!! I love everything about this dress. Too bad it’s not offered in a non-maternity style. The color seems more like an silky ashy-mauve (or dusty rose) than brown mink.

Congrats to the couple!

Hi Sarah! Really? More and more lately, I hear of many Ariana’s .. but rarely any with my spelling 🙂 Lots spell it with 2 N’s. I like it better with one.

I much prefer Ariana with one “n” as well. I read in a baby name book that in Welsh, it means “like silver”. The spelling Arianna, which is more Greek means “very holy”. In my area (SF Bay Area), there are more people spelling it the two “n’s”.

That’s not the same dress as shown below. Anyone know what she actually wore?
