Munchkin Fresh Totes: Powerful Diaper Pail Protection

When Munchkin teamed up with Arm & Hammer to create an air-freshening sachet, I knew it was going to be powerful. After all, Arm & Hammer freshens my fridge and keeps my litter box from being a hazardous waste zone. And I was right. Each baking soda-filled pack comes with two lavender-scented Fresh Totes ($6 for 2) in fun, printed fabrics.

Created to be multi-purpose, the instructions give suggestions like hanging it from your changing table, in a closet or in a dirty hamper. I hung one inside of my diaper pail and the sachet quickly took care of the stench. The potent sweet scent has that ‘trying to smell like the real thing but fails’ fragrance you find with most home air freshener sprays, carpet deodorizers and the like but it sure beats the smell of old dirty diapers. In fact, hanging the other one near the litter box may not be a bad idea.
