Tim Allen Reveals Baby-on-the-Way Is a Girl

It’s another girl for Tim Allen! The 55-year-old actor revealed the happy news at Monday’s Callaway Golf Foundation Challenge at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., telling us that he and wife Jane Hajduk are thinking pink with the bundle of joy they expect this spring. To prepare for the big day, the couple have transformed their exercise room into a nursery. Says Tim,
“It’s a nice little sacrifice to make someplace [where] she has a really cool room. We’re just finishing it today so I want to get home to see what it looks like.”
Joking that baby girl will be “a workout queen,” Tim adds that despite portraying one of television’s most revered dads on Home Improvement he has no hidden advantage in the parenting department. “I don’t think I have it down,” he admits. “I don’t think I have it down at all!”
“I have one neighbor, oddly enough, [and] his wife is pregnant, too. And he looks at me and goes, ‘I can get a lot of advice from you.’ I’m like, ‘No, no. don’t think that way. No, don’t come to me.’ The older you get, the less you know.”
The new arrival will join Tim’s daughter Katherine, 19, from his prior marriage to Laura Deibel.
