Hip On Sunset: Rock Couture Pajamas
![]() |
Someone once said that the joys of parenthood are not fully realized until the kids are in bed and I would whole-heartedly agree. My three-year-old could spend a straight 12 hours driving me out of my mind but as soon as I see her in her pjs she automatically becomes my little do-no-wrong baby again and all the craziness of the day is forgotten. I have a soft-spot for a cute pair of pjs but I especially love the pajamas from Hip on Sunset.
This line of rock and tattoo inspired sleepwear is made of 100% cotton and is not treated with harsh, flame retardant chemicals. To keep the quality high, each of the original rock-inspired designs is screen-printed by hand. All the designs are printed on black fabric to meet true rock-and-roll potential.
Created by two moms and long time friends who were inspired by the rock culture they had seen at the many concerts they attended (one of the creators is married to the bass player for the rockabilly band Reverend Horton Heat), each pair of pajamas is complemented with its own limerick (and part of that limerick is printed on the back of each shirt) to honor the free spirits of our little future designers, musicians and artists.
These are the pajamas I turn to when we are going to someone’s house and I know I will have to put my daughter in her pjs before we leave for the car ride home. Everyone always compliments us on them! The cotton is super-soft because they don’t use chemicals to make them flame retardent. My daughter also loves them and calls them her Harley pajamas — an association she made due to her grandfather’s Harley and Harley-related paraphernalia.
These pjs would make a great gift. Not only will the recipient love them but they’ll also think that you are incredibly hip. Rock on!
