Bobby Brown and Girlfriend Expecting a Baby

There’s a new addition on the way for the former New Edition singer! Bobby Brown, 39, and his girlfriend Alicia Etheridge are expecting their first child together. A statement from Bobby’s agent reads,

“There aren’t too many details out there right now, but we do know he is very excited, as Bobby is big on family. The sex of the baby is not known yet, and we can confirm she is four months along.”

The couple began dating in 2007. Baby-on-the way will join Bobbi Kristina, 15, Bobby’s daughter with ex-wife Whitney Houston, and Landon, LaPrincia, and Bobby Jr., all from previous relationships.

Hopefully, they won’t name this baby Bobbi/Bobby. I think three in one family is enough.

Bobbi Kristina is called “Krissy.” I’ve never heard them call her anything else (with the exception of one time when Bobby Senior called her Kristina). George Forman has alot of George’s lol so why not another Bobby? (kidding)

How exactly is he “big on family,” but doesn’t pay child support on time? I’m not saying he doesn’t love his children, and I’m not saying that financial support is proof either way. But what I am saying is that if you’re not taking care of the familial responsibilities you have and these problems are recurrent, don’t walk around talking about how much you “care” or “love kids” or are “big on family.”

And may I inquire after the judgment of the baby’s mother? I’ll just never get over hearing how Bobby Brown “assisted” Whitney Houston with her potty problem… And the crack. I won’t be forgetting the crack either.

Jen – I totally agree. My comment was probably more harsh so it got edited away. I hope he has learned how to take responsibility and I hope he has quit using. I doubt it, but I hope he has.

Rock On, Jen! We’re in complete agreement! As a divorcee with a daughter whose father doesn’t understand the concept of child support, yet is contemplating having another with his present “interest”, it baffles me to hear about men who can’t/won’t take care of the kids they have before jumping right back in and making more!
