Adam Sandler Dresses Up For Sadie

KM Press

When it comes to Adam Sandler and bedtime for his 2 ½-year-old daughter Sadie Madison, there’s never a dull moment. The 42-year-old actor jokes with USA Today that he often dresses up as the lead character in whatever story he’s reading, and that things took a dramatic turn when Sadie discovered Disney princesses. “You’d be surprised at how good I look in a ball gown,” he says. Sometimes, Adam diverts from the written page and makes up his own story for the characters — with varying degrees of success.

“This backfired when my daughter started watching movies and realized that Cinderella didn’t drive for NASCAR.”

Tales of princesses and racecars are a stark departure from the material Adam himself used to drift off to sleep to as a child, when his father would read aloud from the newspaper. ”I tried to do that, but Sadie would always finish the crossword puzzle before me, so I stopped,” he adds.

In addition to Sadie, Adam and wife Jackie are parents to 3-month-old daughter Sunny Madeline.

LOL, I love Adma Sandler. I’m not a fan of some of his movies, but some of them are pretty funny. I’m more a fan of what kind of father he appears. He just seems to be such a tender and loving daddy and totally fun!

If I could choose any two comedians to be my parents, it would have to be Adam Sandler and Amy Poehler or Tina Fey. So funny!!

Sweet but I hope this second little girl gets a look in!
