Much to the delight of son Charlie, actor Russell Crowe muscles up a big splash while playing in the waves of Australia’s Bondi Beach on Wednesday.
Russell, wife Danielle, their 5-year-old son and Tennyson, 2 ½ (not pictured), enjoyed the sun, building sandcastles and running in the surf.
Next up for Russell, 44, is feature film State of Play, out later this year.

There was a time when Isla Fisher was an open book, but that time has passed. Telling the Times Online that she has “more to protect now,” the 32-year-old actress says that “some topics are off-limits.” Among them are her 15-month-old daughter Olive and fiancé Sacha Baron Cohen; During the interview, Isla repeatedly checked her Blackberry for updates from a babysitter, but volunteered little about life at home. “It can be tough because motherhood is one of my most favorite things ever,” she explains.
At the opposite end of the spectrum is exercise. The producers of her new film Confessions of a Shopaholic hired a personal trainer to help Isla shed the 60 pounds she gained while pregnant, and they had their work cut out for them! “[They] said I was lucky I was blessed with good genes because I had a really bad attitude towards exercise — like stopping when it hurt or got boring and having a cup of tea and a slice of cake,” she says. “Apparently you are not supposed to do that in Hollywood.” When the cake and tea begin to add up, Isla reaches for Spanx.
“I swear that my waist is now skinnier than before I was pregnant – how do they do that? Certainly it’s nothing to do with me working out.”
Confessions of a Shopaholic is in theaters Feb. 13.

In Los Angeles doing pre-production work on Mother and Child, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber flash a few grins while leaving the Brentwood, Calif. post office with 6 ½-week-old son Samuel Kai, who reportedly had his passport photo taken.
Does the spot look familiar? It’s the same place the couple casually introduced older son Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete back in August 2007!
So how’s life with their new little one? Liev recently joked, “We like him just fine,” during the New York City premiere of his new film Defiance. “Sammy can stay,” Naomi added.

Like most girls her age, 7 ½-year-old Briahna Fatone is a fan of the Jonas Brothers. Unlike most girls her age, however, Briahna’s dad — Joey Fatone — is a former boy band superstar himself!
During a Tuesday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 32-year-old singer and actor revealed that the full extent of his fame with ‘N Sync has finally begun to dawn on his daughter. During the tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center in December, Joey was approached by some fans; As he obliged their request for an autograph, Briahna wanted to know why they were interested. “I said, ‘Because Daddy’s cool, that’s why,’” Joey laughed. Armed with this new knowledge, Briahna began to cry, however. Recalled Joey,
“She said, ‘You were in a rock band and you were cool and you were awesome and I’m nobody.’ I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ I basically said, ‘You know what, honestly, that means nothing to me. The best thing that ever happened to me was you.’ And she, thank goodness, stopped crying.”
Briahna is the first child for Joey and wife Kelly Baldwin.

Ava Eliot Jackman took a multi-colored spin around the playground on Tuesday in New York, warmly bundled against the chilly temperatures.
Accompanying her were parents Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness, who sat with their 3 ½-year-old at a child-sized table and played pretend, then took turns pushing their daughter on the swings!
Hugh and Deborra-Lee are also parents to son Oscar Maximillian, 8 ½.
