Gael García Bernal Calls Fatherhood 'Incredible'

Actor Gael García Bernal admits that since welcoming son Lázaro three weeks ago, his outlook on life and his career have changed, but he doesn’t think that it’s different for any other parent! “I think everyone who becomes a father or becomes a mother goes through this change of priorities,” notes the 30-year-old.
The entire experience of becoming a father has been “incredible” for Gael, who shares that “it’s a difficult thing to explain because it’s such a complex thing, and yet it’s so simple. So the best way I can explain it is, finally there’s someone more important than me that I have to consider.”
To help him adjust to being a father, Gael has received some advice from fellow celebrity dad and close friend Diego Luna, who is dad to 5-month-old Jerónimo.
“Oh yeah, lots. It was mostly about changing nappies and things like that.”
Lázaro’s mom is actress Dolores Fonzi.
