Billy Martin Welcomes Son Dreavyn Kingslee

It’s a boy for Good Charlotte guitarist Billy Martin and his wife Linzi! Son Dreavyn Kingslee Martin arrived on Monday, January 26th, in Pasadena, Calif. He is the first child for the couple, who were married on March 1st of last year. Although Billy and Linzi had found out the sex of their baby and decided on a name beforehand, they chose to keep the information private during the pregnancy. Billy tells PEOPLE,

“Mom is doing great, baby is healthy. I couldn’t ask for anything more. It is hands down the most amazing thing that has ever happened in my life. We can see so much of my wife and I in him already!”

Billy, 27, and Linzi, 25, announced the pregnancy in September. They have been together for nine years.

Ah well, good for them. Billy sounds very sweet. As for the name, I think that theirs is the generation that will be known for made up/creatively spelled names. Seems like a merging of “Dread” and “Heaven”. But hey, it’s not forgettable!

Aw, a little Aquarius baby. How sweet

I was excited for him and his wife when they announced the pregnancy last year. They just seem like such nice people. And I like the name Kingslee… though, I’m not entirely sure how Dreavyn is supposed to be pronounced. Anyway, I hope they enjoy their new little guy. And little Harlow Madden now has another playmate.

Hmmm….well that’s an interesting name……Dree-vin? Dray-vin?
I usually don’t like excessively creative made-up sounding names, but I don’t hate it as much as I thought when I first saw it. It flows well and the whole name sounds nice together. Dreavyn Kingslee Martin…It’s kind of growing on me, actually. The spelling, on the other hand….

Congrats to them both. I’m a GC fan from way back when.
I’m 99% sure Dreavyn is meant to be pronounced the same as Draven (lead character in the film The Crow) if so then Billy and Linzi are the 2nd rock star couple to have a Draven. Chester Bennington (Linkin Park front man) and his ex also have a son Draven.

Oh, wow – I’ve been waiting for this news for a while.

The name is unusual, but as someone already stated, if it is pronounced ‘Dray-ven’ then it’s the same as Chester Bennington’s son, Draven.
I like how unusual names are the norm for the celebrity culture, but somehow it’s rather fitting.
Congrats to the happy couple – I’m sure that baby’s beautiful…it’s coming from one hell of a gene pool.

I wonder if we’ll ever get to see pictures?!
Hm…

That picture is nice, but it would look better if Linzi didn’t look so…bored? Confused? Annoyed? Overly aware? Lol.
