Ava Eliot Jackman took a multi-colored spin around the playground on Tuesday in New York, warmly bundled against the chilly temperatures.

Accompanying her were parents Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness, who sat with their 3 ½-year-old at a child-sized table and played pretend, then took turns pushing their daughter on the swings!

Hugh and Deborra-Lee are also parents to son Oscar Maximillian, 8 ½.

Ava wears Amy Bahrt’s Wool Elephant Scarf ($75).

I know Ava is adopted, but do you all see a resemblance here between her and Hugh? I think it’s a sweet testament to how much we get from our parents that isn’t genetic–smiles and facial expressions, particularly. She is just precious!

I must say that both Hugh and Deb are truly caring parents — they’ve both braved the ridiculous cold during this frigid NYC winter to take their children outside to play (clearly better for Oscar and Ava than sitting in front of a screen) — and coming from Australia they are used to a much warmer climate.
