Bumbleride 2009 Line-up: New Colors and Improved Features For the Indie!

Bumbleride gave us a sneak peak at their 2009 Indie ($460)! This all-terrain stroller has the smooth suspension of a jogging stroller, with the weight (just 20 lbs) and features of a full-featured buggy for newborns through toddlers. Thoughtful features like a a height-adjustable handle, large storage basket and removable cup holder make it a great option for parents who want bang for their buck. A couple of new things for 2009: redesigned wheels, larger canopy for more sun coverage, a new multi-adjustable backrest which will allow for an easier and more compact fold and several new styling details. They have also made similar changes to their other stroller models. There are also two new colors: Lava (black) and Vita (pink). Click to see the new shades!

I bought a Bumbleride for my sister when she had her son and she loves it. In fact, she loves it so much that she convinced a friend of ours to buy the Twin version for her twins. She gets stopped on the streets of NYC by people asking her what kind of stroller she has – it’s so good looking.

The strollers are cute and look like they’d work well with a baby.

What I’m curious about is what are those things in the photo which look like wooden versions of a Segway? lol!
