Anne Heche Bumps It Up

George Frey/EPA

Anne Heche gave us a peek at her growing belly at the premiere of her latest film, Spread, Saturday at the Sundance film festival in Park City, Utah. Earlier in the day, she played it more casual while checking out some of the product suites!

Anne and her partner, former Men In Trees co-star James Tupper, are expecting their first child together, a baby boy, this spring. Anne, 39, has a 6 ½-year-old son, Homer, with ex-husband Coley Laffoon.

Find out who else has little ones on the way in our Who’s Due Next gallery!

Honestly, I can’t get excited about this. They both left their spouses for each other. Reports mention Tuppers wife being blindsided and that absolutely breaks my heart. I can’t imagine how that must feel. A new baby is always a joy, but I am having a hard time getting excited for the two of them.

DITTO, Kellie. I just cannot take this lady seriously anymore! And for them to flaunt like this, it must really sting to their exes.

- Jenn on

congrats, Anne looks great!

Tori Spelling did the same thing!!Everybody goo gagas over her babies.
Yes it is sad that the other spouses got hurt in all this, but it happened and this is a joyful time .
I liked her since she was an actress in Another World as “Victoria”.
Congrats to her and her boyfriend..

I agree with Kellie and Jen. And I feel the same way about Dean McDermott… I think I can cut Tori a little slack since she didn’t have any kids with her 1st husband…not saying I agree with what she did, but I think adultery is brought to a whole new level when children are involved…

Ok people have absolutely no idea what really happened, so who are we to judge? They appear to be very happy and excited about their pregnancy, so I say congratulations to them! I’m sure this new baby will be a great new arrival for the family

- Sarah on

Well regardless of the situation, I think we all can agree that this is a beautiful photo of her.

I agree with the others who have pointed out how it’s hard to be excited for this couple seeing as how they got together. . . I also have a hard time putting that little Fresno-aliens-are-after-me thing out of my mind.

But let’s hope that things are not as they seem and that this baby will be welcomed into a loving, happy home!!!

hope there’s not another child custody battle in the future…..

A baby is a blessing regardless of the circumstances. Congratulations to the family.

Terri- I couldn’t have said it better myself!

I think she is ABSOLUTELY glowing & I am so happy for her & her boyfriend James!

Thanks Sarah for reminding us that we don’t know what happens in relationships. I think it says ALOT however that neither one of their spouses moved to Vancouver even though the show was picked up for a second season & all indications were that it would go on for a third.

God bless the innocent – the children

I have been a FANNE since Another World days as well.

I admire her for overcoming what life dealt her as a child and also for not making excuses for the decisions that she has made. She owns up to her mistakes.

I think She & James have nothing but love to give to not only the new baby but to Homer & they seem to keep an enormous amount of normalcy for the family unit.

I really wish people would stop saying negative things about Anne. She has not done anything worse than anybody else has done in Hollywood or in the political arena for that matter.

I really think people are bitter because of her & Ellen but let’s remember that Portia was a real close friends with Anne first (enough to be at her wedding to Coley) & then jumped over to Ellen.

Step back & just look at her acting ability & critique that. She is so versatile & her acting talent surpasses most of those more famous. It’s too bad that one’s personal life is allowed to detract from talent. If this was done in the private sector, one would have their personal life reflected on their job evaluation, well can you imagine the outrage & lawsuits.

All I am saying is give her a break.

Shame the parent & you shame the child.

She looks great & I congratulate the family on their new addition to come.

Maybe we could speculate on the due date instead of bringing people down.

You go girl!

You rock!

Don’t listen to the others. Can you get anymore beautiful? I think not, glowing in the blessing that is a new life.

- David on

It’s all about fashion y’all.

Great styles worn by Anne at Sundance. Still working those heels! I wish they would make known the designers of these great outfits.

I personally agree with eSMITH 100%. Thnx for being brave enough to put it into words

- Jane on

I think Anne got a raw deal on the custody ruling against her. After reading the court filings I was 100% on Anne’s side. The issues that she had with her ex sounded credible to me. She made a difficult comeback and deserves happiness!
