Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou Expecting a Baby

Baby Phat CEO and TV personality Kimora Lee Simmons and her boyfriend, actor Djimon Hounsou are expecting their first child together, Us Weekly reports. This will be the third baby for Kimora, who is mom to daughters Ming Lee, 9 next week, and Aoki Lee, 6 ½, with ex-husband Russell Simmons, and the first for Djimon, 44. Last year, the 33-year-old shared that she would love to have more children, saying, “I think about it all the time, and it’s something that’s a very exciting prospect for me.”

A representative for the couple has yet to confirm the report. Djimon and Kimora have been dating since March 2007.

Is it just me, or does it seem like anymore in “celebrity world” if couples are together for at least 6 months…it’s time to have a baby…..

I guess I am just taken aback by all the “out of the blue” (for lack of a better phrase) baby announcements lately!

Not a massive surprise to me. Were they not denying a pregnancy a few months back? Usually a denial in the celebrity world means a yes! lol

I saw a pic of her yesterday and after observing for a while – and noticing she covered her belly with a really big bag – I said, “Yup, she’s pregnant.”

I read she’s about 4 months (and I heard this pregnancy is difficult for her) so I guess we’re looking at an early summer arrival.

I’m excited for them, if this is true. I’m a big fan of both and yes, even though Kimora is a fiesty one I still love her.
She seems like a very loving mother and I’m sure Djimon will be a great father cause from what I’ve seen he adores her girls.

I’m thinking a little boy with this one even though I’d like to see another little girl added to the mix.
