Vanessa Marcil Says College Comes First for Kassius

For a time, Vanessa Marcil says that her 6 ½-year-old son Kassius Lijah was “king” of Las Vegas — the show, not the city! Understanding the difference between the two was not as easy as it might seem, however. The 40-year-old actress tells Parade,
“Once when we actually visited Vegas I had to explain to him that he couldn’t go in the real casinos because they didn’t allow children.”
The bond between Kassius and his dad, actor Brian Austin Green, remains strong. “He loves his dad,” Vanessa says. “They play video games together and once, when Brian guested on Las Vegas, Kassius was on the set and we took lots of pictures.” Although they are no longer together as a couple, Vanessa and Brian are united on at least one front. She says,
“Both his father and I agree, though, that he has to finish college before we’d even think about letting him become an actor.”
