Richard Gere Snaps His Son

Richard Gere enjoyed some beach time with son Homer James Jigme, 8, while on vacation in St. Barth. The dad and son — plus mom, actress Carey Lowell — rang in the new year on the resort island.

What a cute picture! But wasn’t Homer’s middle name Jigme, not James? I seem to recall reading that Jigme was his middle name in People magazine when he was born.

It wasn’t a nude beach, it was a topless beach. Those beaches are very normal in many countries and people can chose whether they want to take their top off or not. Children play at those beaches too and are not harmed by seeing some breasts.

Is it wrong that I still envy Carey Lowell? Homer is a handsome boy- with his genes how could he not be- but also lucky that his parents keep his private life private.
