'Biggest Loser' Couple Marty and Amy Wolff Expecting First Child

NBC

After letting “nature take its course,” former Biggest Loser contestants Marty and Amy Wolff are expecting their first child together, PEOPLE exclusively confirms. “We are very excited,” Amy says.

Since appearing on the show, the Wolffs have remained committed to maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle through their weight-loss and self-improvement program, Reality Wellness.  Amy admits that she worries about the weight gain associated with pregnancy, but is thus far holding her own. “So many friends have had to battle weight gain during pregnancy,” she explains. “They all have told me to watch out, it happens so quickly, and I’m like, ‘I know!’” Amy adds,

“I am cautious. I haven’t gained any weight yet. I feel like the luckiest pregnant girl ever.”

Weight gain is, of course, inevitable and when it does kick in Amy will be ready. ”One of the most exciting things was Marty’s Christmas present for me,” she shares. “It was a box of everything maternity and right on top was a onesie that says ‘I Love Mommy,’ and I immediately cried when I saw it!”

The couple — married in 2008 — expect baby-on-the-way in July.

I met them this summer and they are an adorable couple. I asked about if they were going to have a baby and she definitely was up for it so it’s exciting to see it happening for them. They are very sweet together and I know they’ve both got a good head on their shoulders. I just wonder how it will effect her job as a personal trainer – if she can still do that.. can’t wait to see this baby!
