Red Sox Pitcher Jonathan Papelbon Welcomes Daughter Parker Alice

It’s a girl for Boston Red Sox All Star pitcher Jonathan Papelbon and his wife Ashley. The Boston Globe reports that the couple recently welcomed daughter Parker Alice Papelbon, weighing in at 8 lbs 4 oz. While her exact date of birth is not stated, Ashley was due to deliver on New Years Day.

The couple were married in 2005, and Parker is their first child.
