Trucktown: Snow Trucking by Jon Scieszka

The latest book from Jon Scieszka’s Trucktown Series is Snow Trucking ($3.99). Jack and the gang from Trucktown have fun during a snow day – with snowball fights, skating, and sliding around. They still manage to do their job and clear the streets of Trucktown, all while having a wonderful time together. Their fun was infectious and it kept my three year old engaged. This is a Level One book, for children aged 4 to 6, who are beginning readers. The story was very easy to follow and I was thrilled that my son learned how to sound out the words "snow" and "day" from this book.
