Elmer's Go Paints: Mess-Free Fun

This time of year, I’m always on the lookout for a good stocking stuffer for my toddlers and I’ve found a winner in Elmer’s Go Paints ($10 and under). 100% mess-free fun, the brushes paint colors only on Elmer’s Go Paint paper and dry in a matter of seconds.  What I really like about Go Paint is that unlike other ‘magic’ painting sets that rely on water and color everything they touch, Go Paint brushes are color-coded so that your child does have some creative input on — for example — what color they choose for a house, or a car, etc. etc. I also like that children can touch brush to brush to come up with new colors, all of their own. Speaking of, the brushes are just chunky enough that they’re easy for a toddler to handle — but not so big that they’ll be a turnoff to a preschooler.

As an added bonus, there are mini-traveling Go Paint sets, so that you can take the fun on the road. If you’re planning an extended trip this holiday season by plane or by car, these make a great pick.
