Daisy Ryan Gets Into the Swing of Things

Daisy True Ryan had two hands to hold on to Thursday afternoon, swinging and skipping between mom Meg Ryan and a pal while out and about in Santa Monica, Calif.

In addition to 4-year-old Daisy, Meg is also mom to Jack Henry, 16, her son with ex-husband Dennis Quaid.

Daisy is 4 years old. She was 14 months when Meg adopted her in January 2006

I’ve always been confused about Daisy’s adoption from China. I thought single people couldn’t adopt from China and Meg is clearly single. Am I wrong on Daisy’s country of origin or on the rules?

Dolly, that is true now, however, the rules in China were changed fairly recently. If I’m not mistaken, Daisy was adopted nearly 3-4 years ago and the rules were different then.
