Tori Spelling Goes All Out For Christmas

There will be no shortage of Christmas trees for Tori Spelling and family this holiday. In her latest blog entry for the Oxygen network, the 35-year-old actress — mom to Liam Aaron, 21 months and Stella Doreen, 6 months — says that in her effort to transform her home into a "McDermott Wonderland" she’s going all out! "I decorate one big tree and make individual trees for the kids — little baby decorated trees," she explains. "Last year, I did a Pokemon one for [stepson] Jack [Montgomery, 10] and a monkey tree for Liam, decorated with miniature sock monkeys! Stella will need a ladybug tree this year!" When she’s not hanging stockings and "baking way too many Christmas cookies," Tori helps to keep Liam’s mind off Santa with lots and lots of outings.

"We … like to go to indoor playgrounds for Liam. There’s some great ones in LA. Outdoors we also go to parks and play kick, throw, and catch with Liam. He just learned. He also likes soccer."

Tori adds that she "can’t wait ’til the kids are old enough to go ice skating during the holiday season!" Liam and Stella are Tori’s children with husband Dean McDermott; Jack is his son from a previous marriage.

I think those ideas should be added to the traditions page!! My Liam Rhys is only 5 months old, once he was born the words, “Monkey Doodle” flowed out of my mouth. I never said those words before he was born, so now he goes by various forms of monkey. He was going to be my lamb, but now he is a monkey :) He has oodles of monkeys and sock monkeys, but now he needs a tree. What a sweet tradition. OMG and dont get me started on how cute the lady bug is :)

This family is so cute. I wonder if they follow any Jewish traditions since Tori is Jewish.

The baby looks exactly like Dean.

Although I’m not a big fan of Tori, she really seems to be a good mother.

This is so sweet! Tori seems like such a fun mom.

I make up a little mini Christmas tree for my son’s room too, and he loves it! He wanted to take it in for show and tell today! :)

tori is very creative-in tv producing, obviously it comes from her late dad,but the arts and crafts side of her, as she told dean on their show, is influenced by her mother. those kids are going to have some very special holiday memories one day.i think she is an awesome mum/stepmum and i think it would tough to argue otherwise, even if u hate her.

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
