The pup poses too! Ava Dash, 9, brought her furry friend along as she and fashion designer mom Rachel Roy attended a screening of Marley and Me on Monday at the Tribeca Cinemas Gallery in New York on Wednesday.

Rachel and husband Damon Dash also have a second daughter together, 7-month-old Tallulah Ruth.

I love the dog’s sweater! Wonder if he behaved in the movie. :) :)

I read that as ‘Rachael Ray’ and was thinking I was an idiot because I watch her show and couldn’t tell she was pregnant!

Rachel & her daughter are gorgeous. Her clothes are beautiful too. Glad to see them on here.

Ava looks just like her daddy. Rachel is pretty and that dog is cute. I remember when damon left rachel and baby ava for Aaliyah. He was devasted when Aaliyah died. And not until recently did I know he is cousin’s with stacey dash. I saw her kids recently, totally gorgeous. Damon has 2 sons with other women too

Puppy looks cute in his little sweater, though I never heard of taking them to movies before.

And Ava looks a bit more like Damon to me as she gets older.

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
