Returning home from the hospital after welcoming his second son with fiancée Naomi Watts over the weekend, a dapper Liev Schreiber toted his firstborn — Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete, 16 ½ months — as they arrived back at their Manhattan apartment on Monday. No sign of the new mom or 2-day-old Samuel Kai yet!

Sasha is a beautiful baby, and looks just like naomi to me. So cute when a baby who is 16 months is called a big brother, because they still look like babies themselves lol.

Samuel? No way, just yesterday I thought to myself what a family with a son named Alexander would name a second one. I figured either Benjamin, Joseph or Samuel and literally thought “yeah, Samuel Schreiber would sound nice.”

Sa- Not neccesarily. She had Samuel on the 13th, which was Saturday, and this picture was taken, it says in the description, yesterday (Monday). Considering the fact that the news of Samuel’s birth didn’t make it’s way onto the ‘net until Sunday morning, I’m guessing Samuel wasn’t born until Saturday night.

Generally, hospitals don’t count the day of birth as part of the mother’s hospital stay. Therefore, Naomi would have been in the hospital for one full day as of Monday.
