Exclusive: Take a Peek at Bronx Mowgli's New Wardrobe!

Kevin Mazur/Wireimage

Long before welcoming their first child, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and her husband Pete Wentz were known for their bold and quirky sense of style. From Ashlee’s signature headbands to her maxidresses — and with Pete rocking the skinny jeans — the couple has managed to consistently catch the public’s eye whether they’re strutting their stuff on the red carpet at the VMAs or simply out and about in Los Angeles for a bite to eat.

Now first-time parents after welcoming their son Bronx Mowgli on November 20th, it is inevitable that their baby boy won’t be anything less than one of the leading fashion-friendly celebrity babies in Hollywood. With her eye on brands like Serena & Lily and Eye Spy, Ashlee has turned to ShopBabyTrends.com for help in stocking Bronx’s wardrobe with clothes (and a toy!) that are worthy of a mini-rock star, yet adorable for any baby boy!

Having recently launched, ShopBabyTrends.com is a one-stop shop site that carries all the hottest designer baby clothing from C & C California and True Religion, to Ed Hardy, Juicy Couture and Harajuku Lovers. For the more conservative shopper, the site carries traditional lines such as Tea Collection and Original Penguin.

Little Giraffe Luxe Polka Dot Satin Blanket

Brrr…it’s cold outside! Although Bronx lives in sunny California, there is no doubt that a newborn needs to stay warm and cuddly. With Ashlee’s purchase of a Little Giraffe Luxe Polka Dot Satin Blanket ($68), there is no doubt he will be quite content snoozing his day away!

Serena & Lily Friends Lamb

While Bronx is still too young to appreciate stuffed animals, his Serena & Lily Lamb ($48) will be a comfort toy when he is older. Made with a corduroy body and the adorable touches of fabric appliques, each doll is hand-stitched, making each friendly face unique! Ashlee and Pete may even consider buying the whole set — which includes the bunny and the bear — to give the little lamb (and Bronx) some friends.

Eye Spy Baby Bunny Ears Hat

Throughout the pregnancy, Pete and Ashlee were often photographed sporting some very trendy hats, and it seems the couple are making sure their new son carries off the same look! Ashlee ordered the Eye Spy Baby Bunny Ears Hat ($67) for Bronx, and there is no doubt that the newest member of the family will make his parents proud while showing off their adorable purchase.

Serena & Lily Take Me Home Gift Set

Since newborn babies spend most of their days sleeping for the first few weeks, Ashlee and Pete will have no problem quietly changing Bronx’s diaper with their newborn drawstring gown from the Serena & Lily Take Me Home Gift Set ($68). Also included in the gift set is a newborn cap and a warm swaddling blanket, all made out of pure white organic cotton. The special keepsake box — with an insert for a picture and a short note — provides an added bonus as the proud parents can use it as a memory box for Bronx’s first year.

Bees and Dragons Cashmere Blend Stripe Long Sleeve Romper

Another perfect outfit for the first few days around the house as a new family, the Bees and Dragons Cashmere Blend Stripe Long Sleeve Romper ($59) will keep Bronx cozy — and his parents will have no problems going in for a quick diaper change! What baby (or adult) wouldn’t love to spend their day wrapped in cashmere?

C&C California Striped Layered Long Sleeve Tee

Perfect for lounging around the house or simply staying comfy while out running errands with mom and dad, Bronx will certainly love his C&C California Striped Layered Long Sleeve Tee ($44). Complete with equally comfy matching bottoms (see below) Bronx is able to stay covered to keep off the chill and on a warmer day, avoid the sun while keeping cool.

C&C California Full Length Stripe Pant

The C&C California Full Length Stripe Pant ($42) are the matching pants to complete the C&C California Stripe set! (see above)

C&C California Long Sleeve Skull Strike Raglan

A perfect way to keep baby Bronx warm under his hoodie, the C&C California Long Sleeve Skull Strike Raglan ($44) is a great mix of trendy and rock star style. The daddy and son pair will look adorable as they strut their stuff around town!

Ed Hardy Baby Boy Tiger Onesie

Ready to join his mama Ashlee offstage, Bronx will no doubt look very trendy — and cute — in his Ed Hardy Baby Boy Tiger Onesie ($52) as the pair cheer on rocker Pete. A must for his future concert-going days, Bronx will be sure to draw attention away from the band and keep the spotlight focused on him with his roaring tiger and his trendy tattoo sleeve.

True Religion Unisex Baby Billy, Dark Stone

A perfect match for his Ed Hardy onesie, Bronx will be a styling boy in True Religion Unisex Baby Billy ($78) jeans! With cute and unique pockets, True Religion jeans have become a favorite among celebrity parents and it’s a definite possibility that we will see both father and son out rocking the jeans around town!

C&C California Bone Pullover Hoodie

For those chilly nights that don’t quite warrant a jacket, Bronx can bundle up in his new C&C California Bone Pullover Hoodie ($43). With a variety of bones in several shapes, colors and sizes, Bronx is set to become a leading celebrity baby trendsetter as he will, without a doubt, be able to pull off his sleek rocker ensembles.

Wow they started early with making off their child…

- Sarita on

Funny :) Looks like my son’s wardrobe but he has a little prep mixed in too. The true religion jeans are my favorite – they are so cute on! And we missed out on the Ed hardy onesies but he has the same t-shirt and loves it. Boys clothes have gotten so much better! You definitley have to look to avoid all the applique stuff – trains, dinosaurs and baseballs!!! – but when you find really good sites – its fantastic!!!

- brannon on

Yeah I am not spending $78.00 on a pair of jeans that will be used for 2 months or $48.00 on a shirt that will be thrown up on! LOL Maybe after 3 kids, I just realize it’s not worth it! You’ll feel a lot better about that dirt stain that won’t come out of that Target $7.00 shirt than that $47.00 shirt.

- ann on

So true Ann. The clothes are so cute but when I have kids running around all day getting into EVERYTHING $3 Geranimals from Wal-Mart is all I can see getting them. :) But they are the cutest. Especially when boy clothes have always been so blah. Those are great. :)

- michelle on

Cute clothes they picked for bronx. They have so much money that buying their kid clothes like this, equals to them what a normal person would buy at say target. True religion has the cutest kids jeans, and I love ed hardy. People always think it’s hard to dress a boy cute, but it’s not true you just have to spend a little more. Girls looks cute with dresses, bows, etc, but with boys they look the cutest in ralph lauren, gap clothes, true religion, guess, etc. Personally I like those brands and juicy for girls too, but for boys I feel cheap clothes tend to look cheap on them.

- gianna on

I am in total agreement on the cost of the clothes. It’s not worth it to me to spend that much money on a kid just so he can look cute for 5 minutes before he destroys it! If I can find something like that a secondhand store, great, but I’m not about to buy it brand new! I have a 2 year old son, and I happen to think his clothes from Walmart and Target look totally adorable on him!

- Shannon on

The only items I like are the blanket, Ed Hardy onesie (though I prefer the t-shirt version), and True Religion. Nothing else appeals to me, and the lamb and hat are downright ugly imo; I wouldn’t buy them if they cost $1 apiece. I do agree that boys’ clothes have really improved and that if you put the time in ro searching for them, they can look just as good as girls. But it’s definitely more of a chore and hit in the wallet, which isn’t fair.

- Lauren on

I love my boys in Ralph Lauren and Baby Gap. I don’t really like any of these clothes and especially because I think it is so stupid to buy 70 dollar jeans that the baby isn’t comfortable in and will spit up on in 5 minutes. I guess babies look cute in anything, but personally these outfits aren’t my favorite!

- Mary on

Call me square, or just sensible, but these clothes are incredibly overpriced and ugly. I love my kids in Old Navy, Gap, The Children’s Place and just plain old Wal-Mart and Zeller’s (in Canada) I’ve found many many adorable pieces of clothing at local consignment stores and then sell them right back or pass them on to friends. For the length of time these little ones actually “wear” these clothes, it seems so pointless to spend so much on these labels. Why would I spend more on a baby than I would my own clothing (that I can wear for months and months)

- KW on

If they have so much money they can buy these clothes than why feel the need to to do things like this where they get the clothes for free and are basivally making money off their child?

- Sarita on

Some of the clothes remind me of Kingston Rosdale’s wardrobe!

- CelebBabyLover on

The clothes are very cute….but I would rather spend less at Gap, Old Navy or Children’s Place.
