Naomi Bundles Her Bump; Liev Talks Baby and Sneaky Sasha

Most Wanted Pictures

A well-wrapped Naomi Watts kept warm on Monday while walking the West Village with mum Miv, who’s in town from Australia. Grandma is presumably here to help with the new baby, which will be arriving "soon," says Liev Schreiber.

Promoting his new film Defiance on Friday, the actor explained, "Our first baby came early and I suspect this one will as well." (Son Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete‘s due date had been August 2nd, but he arrived on July 25th instead.)

"Life gets a lot busier," when it comes to preparing for a new baby, Liev noted. "It also gets a lot more enjoyable in many aspects." Unfortunately, parenthood still leaves the fairly-new father alarmed! "There’s a sort of every day terror you are exposed to that I’m still not accustomed to," admits Liev.

"You can be pouring yourself a cup of coffee and you turn around and realize your 16-month toddler has the ability to climb two chairs, get on to a dining room table and stand on one foot as he reaches for a lamp. It is just remarkable to me he could do that."

Sneaky Sasha. I love it. I can only imagine his little face when he gets caught getting into something. He’s so precious.

My son was 14 months the first time he made it onto the dining table!

I nearly fainted when I saw him.

Now he’s 2 1/2 and still climbing everything, but I’m used to it, finally.

My grandma always used to tell my mom to baby proof the windows and when my mom said “the baby can’t climb it yet” she’d always say “you know when you realize that she CAN? when she’s already climbed it.”

This just reminded me of this story that my mom told me.

… while soaking wet and holding onto to a live electrical wire.

Like the day my then-10-month-old daughter casually unhooked the safety gate and started casually crawling up the stairs.

Does anyone know what coat she’s wearing? It looks super cozy and I’d love to have one.

does anyone know the name/brand of that wonderful black parka in which naomi watts is always photographed?

Bless Sasha!
My son was like that, he used to climb onto the sofa and just jump off it when he was 18 months which was quite scary as he could have easily hurt himself but I always had an eye on him whilst having the other on the hoovering or something else haha!

When I was 16 months old my parents heard a little knock on their bedroom door in the middle of the night. When they opened the door they were stunned to find me grinning at them from the door saying “juice now?”

I had climbed out of my crib, opened my door and walked down the hall.
