Molly Ringwald is Pretty in Green (Rather Than Pink!)

Mathilda Ereni Gianopoulos, 5, gave a shy smile while posing with her mom, actress and 80s icon Molly Ringwald, at ABC Family’s "25 Days of Christmas" Winter Wonderland Event, held Sunday at The Rock Center Cafe in New York City. The pair were looking festive in green, red and plaid!

Dad is Molly’s husband, writer Panio Gianopoulos. Molly can currently be seen on The Secret Life of the American Teenager — the new season premieres Monday, January 5th at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.

I’m with you, Mellie-as soon as I saw this picture, my first thought was, “Wow, Mathilda is the image of her father.” I don’t see Molly in her at all right now, though she did resemble her a lot more as a toddler and appears to have really changed physically over the past few years.

I’m not trying to be rude here, but…to those who are saying how much Mathilda looks like her mom, would you even know she was her daughter if they weren’t photographed together?

Because I honestly see no resemblance. lol. At all. They are a cute pair, though.
