Ladies in Red: Suri and Katie in the Big Apple

Suri Cruise, 2 ½, steps out with mom Katie Holmes on Saturday as the two — both dressed in red! — returned to their apartment.

Katie recently spoke to T, the New York Timesstyle magazine, about "seeing New York through Suri’s eyes." The pair, along with dad Tom Cruise, are in Manhattan while Katie continues her run on Broadway in All My Sons.

Suri is wearing Janie and Jack’s Hand-Smocked Bullion Silk Dress ($47), paired with a jacket from the Holiday Classics ’07 line.

On her feet are Nordstrom’s Bella Ballet Flat in Candy Red ($40).

This is such a great picture of Suri and Katie. And Suri’s outfit is just adorable. They look like their in a middle of a conversation. Is Suri holding something in her right hand?? Looks like there is something there but I can’t make it out for sure.

I can see Suri being one of those girls who fights mom and dad if they try to put pants on her. She always looks so cute and dressed up. I love Katie’s jacket too…although I don’t think I would ever dress to match my children. But she still looks very chic.
