Amy Jo Johnson Welcomes Daughter Francesca Christine

It’s a girl for actress Amy Jo Johnson and her fiancé Olivier Giner, who welcomed a daughter, Francesca Christine Giner, on Monday, December 1st. The baby was born at 9:09 p.m., weighing 7 lbs., 1 oz. Her middle name honors Amy Jo’s late mother.

The couple announced their pregnancy in June, and while Amy Jo, 38, flew under the radar through most of her nine months, she did give us a peek at her belly in August! This is the first child for the couple.

Amy Jo, who previously appeared on Felicity, now stars on Flashpoint, airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. on CBS.

I was a teenager when the Power Rangers came out, but I’m familiar with Amy b/c I used to babysit Jordan. He loved the Power Rangers. He always let me be the ‘Pink One’. I watched them more than I cared for and it took me the longest time to realize where I knew her from when she was on Felicity.

I love the name Francesca. It is so girly. I also loved the Pink Ranger growing up.
