After getting married, New Yorker Rosie Pope knew she wanted to start a family. She also knew she wanted start her own business — so how to merge the two? After extensive research, the former model decided pregnant women looking for high-end ready-to-wear weren’t being served, and launched her own maternity line, Rosie Pope.

Rosie recently opened a flagship store in Manhattan’s chic SoHo neighborhood — the same week she gave birth to her first son! — filled with dresses, skirts and purse-like diaper bags that are already being scooped up by stars including Nicole Richie and Jennifer Garner. (Her line is also available online.) With clothing, accessories and more for stylish, active businesswomen — plus a couture line of maternity wear — Rosie has definitely attained her goal of bringing good-looking clothing to pregnant bellies!

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
