Tim McGraw is sometimes confused about what goes on in his house since he is surrounded by all women, including wife Faith Hill and daughters Gracie Katherine, 11 ½, Maggie Elizabeth, 10, and Audrey Caroline, 6 ½! The 41-year-old admits that "it’s not easy" as he is "a guy’s guy — and then I’ve got a house full of estrogen." Complicating things is the fact that oldest daughter Gracie just started junior high and "there’s some things going on in that head. I don’t know what’s going onwith her. But it’s tough, you know. It’s a learning process." After some misguided attempts at trying to discipline his pre-teen, the country singer notes that "you certainly can’t be close-minded, like it’s gonna be my way. And I’ve tried that: ‘It’s gonna be my way, we’re gonna do it this way, you’re gonna get up and you’re gonna do that.’"

"I don’t know if it’s different for boys, but with girls, it justdoesn’t work that way. You’ve got to figure out how to deal with ‘em ontheir terms."

Tim has co-written a children’s book entitled My Little Girl, that deals with a daughter’s relationship with her father.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
