Due with twin girls in January, Rebecca Romijn is busy preparing for her bundles of joy. Amid all of her baby preparations, the actress found some time to chat with InStyle, dishing on her indulgences in the December issue. She told the magazine she’s currently drinking Vita Coco coconut water cut with lemonade — "It’s my pregnancy cocktail," she says — and craving the buffalo chicken sandwich from chic New York eatery Cafeteria. "Jerry goes there every single day to get me one!"

She’s not only drinking coconut-infused products; she’s using them on her skin, too! "I’ve been using organic coconut oil on my body to alleviate stretch marks," she tells the magazine. "I do Pilates, bike ride, swim and kayak when I’m in Montauk, N.Y., with my in-laws. I’m trying to stay active before I’m put on bed rest and can’t do anything at all."

The actress, 36, reveals that she’s taking singing lessons — "I don’t know if the girls can hear me, but I want them to," she says — and is reading up on motherhood in What to Expect When You’re Expecting. But the biggest treat of them all? A babymoon with husband Jerry O’Connell, 34. "We got a weekend at the Montage resort in Laguna Beach, Calif., as wedding gifts. We’re cashing them in before the twins come."

I’m wondering if the coconut oil is some kind of new fad because my future mother-in-law has been into that lately too lol. She’s been using it on her skin and hair as well as eating it on toast. Weird.

Having grown up in the Caribbean, I’ve known about the benefits of coconut oil for years….it’s always been around – I guess it’s just now becoming popular in the United States.

Mmmm, I love coconut oil! I put in my oatmeal, sweet potatoes, toast, whatever I can think of. Healthy fats are good for you.

Twins are considered full term at 36 weeks. Not that they can’t go longer, but they are considered “done” at 36 weeks.

That’s when I had mine.

I carried my twins to 38 weeks when my doctor FINALLY did my c-section. They were both very healthy & were 6 lbs. 7 oz each. She better hop on that babymoon though. Pretty soon she may not have the energy to even enjoy it!

Coconut oli is great for avoiding stretch marks. I think one of the main reasons barely no celebtrities have stretch marks is because they use a lot of good olis, creams, etc while pregnant. Rebecca looks great for carrying twins. Can’t wait to hear their names and see them. I think she will give birth mid to late december.

Mom Said It

"It helps that other moms had said that once they had their babies, they forgot they were ever pregnant. So once my focus became the baby and not the pregnancy, it was a very easy decision."
