Whoa mama! Rebecca Romijn brings more than her appetite to her mother-in-law’s home for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday in California. The Ugly Betty actress is just weeks away from welcoming fraternal twin daughters, her first children with husband Jerry O’Connell.

Rebecca, 36, who says she conceived with the help of Chinese acupuncture, is due to give birth in January.

She looks great & slim everywhere else especially considering she is that far along & carrying twins!
Love her outfit!

She definitely has those full “pregnancy lips”. She looks great!

She looks great! I like what she’s wearing. Looks cute on her belly!

She seemed to grow really quickly for a while but now I don’t think her belly looks that huge for twins. I swear Naomi Watts’ belly looks bigger! I’m 28 weeks pregnant with twins and currently in the middle of a mammoth belly spurt, and I’ve been told growth slows down after 32 weeks (due to lack of space!); maybe that is what happened with Rebecca? Just one other thing – I’m confused by the “weeks away from giving birth” line in the post… I thought she wasn’t due until mid January? (although she has commented she wouldn’t be surprised by an early arrival in December?)

She looks great!

I hope the remainder of the pregnancy goes smoothly and she delivers two healthy little girls.

she looks amazing, she does not look like she is at the end of her pregnancy with twins!

How can she tell it’s fraternal twins if they were conceived completely naturally? You can’t ‘see’ that on an ultrasound! And even if it’s possible to find out, I still think it makes her denial of medical intervention somewhat ‘suspicious’. Not that I judge IVF or anything, I just don’t like her being hypocrite about it. She could be a great support for other women by just admitting she needed help…

OMG WOW look how much them babies have grown!!!! She looks like she could go any day now! She looks like she’s miserable even with her smile. I can’t wait to see these precious little babies. I wonder what they’ll name them.

Tamara- yes you can tell if babies are fraternal on an ultrasound. you can see the line where the two amniotic sacs meet AND there will most often be sep sacs and sep placentas

autumnjade- I, too, thought it’s impossible to tell if twins are fraternal or identical on an ultrasound, but what you said makes sense. I remember hearing that Angelina supposedly said in an interview while pregnant with Knox and Viv that she and Brad “Saw a line” on the ultrasound, leading them to believe they were having fraternal twins.

However, she also supposedly said the twins were both girls, which wasn’t the case, so who knows whether she actually said that or not!

Anyway, Rebecca has spoken about trying Clomid, but not liking the way it “messed up” her hormones, causing her to decide to stop taking it. She also said they didn’t use IVF and that Chinese Accupuncture helped her concieve.

Mom Said It

"It helps that other moms had said that once they had their babies, they forgot they were ever pregnant. So once my focus became the baby and not the pregnancy, it was a very easy decision."
