Billy Martin (Not) Dealing With Wife's Pregnancy Cravings

Chris Weeks/Wireimage

The incredible responsibility of fatherhood is a mere nine weeks away for Good Charlotte guitarist Billy Martin, when his wife Linzi is due with the couple’s first child, and the pair are passing the time finalizing all the preparations. Already signed up to begin Lamaze classes, Billy shares that even the Alice In Wonderland themed nursery has been finished — complete with a personal touch by the artistic dad-to-be with “a bunch of water color paintings!” Having almost completed their checklist of projects that need to be tackled before the baby arrives, Billy — who, along with Linzi, opted to find out the sex — reveals that the newest addition to the family has already been given a name, however, the news has only been shared with “family and friends” for the time being.

While the couple’s planning may seem impressive, the 27-year-old admits that there is still one pregnancy experience he is hoping to live through before all is said and done. Despite Linzi’s constant reassuring that she is having very little cravings, Billy can’t help but eagerly suggest to his wife that she may be in need of some late-night cookies or ice-cream treats!

“I keep telling my wife, ‘Can I go get you something weird?’ I want to eat ice-cream at 1 o’clock in the morning. [The other] night she saw a commercial for chocolate chip cookies and I was like, ‘Please send me to get them.’ But she just said, ‘We’ll get them tomorrow.’”

Good Charlotte released their newest album — Greatest Remixes — on November 25th. Billy and Linzi’s baby will arrive in late January.

My husband was always willing to get me things but I was always feeling bad and would say I could wait till the next day.I remember very early on though that he made a mcdonalds run at 3 or 4 am for me,lol. He sounds like he wants to be needed. So cute!

I made my hubby take me to Waffle House at 3 am once because I wanted their cinnamon raisin bread and hashbrowns.

My husband was excited to make the late night runs too, but then he got a job across the country when I was just 8 weeks pregnant so he hasn’t been able to do that at all, as I am staying behind to finish grad school and have the baby (10 weeks to go!). The worst he ever had to do was make a 7 AM grocery store run to buy me Eggos.
