Benjamin Bratt Settles Into Fatherhood

Born the middle of five children, Benjamin Bratt says that his sense of "personal strength" has always come from his family. Now that he has a family of his own — wife Talisa Soto and children Sophia Rosalinda, turning 6 this week, and Mateo Bravery, 3 — the 44-year-old actor tells TV Guide that his loved ones have only grounded him further as his career as an actor flourishes. "I think there’s a settled quality, there’s a gravitas that comes with aging and being a parent," he explains. "Because you certainly come to recognize that there’s nothing else that takes greater priority than raising your children."

Benjamin’s show The Cleaner was recently picked up for a second season. It airs Sundays at 7 p.m. on A&E.
