Like mother, like daughter! Suri Cruise wears her own pair of oversized sunglasses while strolling with Katie Holmes on Monday in New York. Suri — who ‘won’t wear’ pants, according to dad Tom Cruise — then stopped to have a chat with her baby doll while Katie, 29, listened in.

Just how old is Katie? She has changed so much from the young youthful-looking beautiful Katie pre-2006 to this haggard looking woman?

You guys at CBB should start running caption competitions for some of these photos! Also, what is the tartan thing that Katie is wearing? I thought it was an uber-massive scarf at first, then I saw she was wearing a black scarf already. It looks like a dress but I can’t be sure.

Maybe it just me but I like it that Suri isn’t such a girlygirl in these pictures!

In the first picture, Suri could compete with Riley, Benjamin, Finley & Harper who looks most like Elvis… I swear! It could be the combination of the glasses with the white jacket.

These pictures seem to be confirmation that Suri dislikes wearing coats, as she’s wearing one in the first picture, but it’s off in the second one!

As for Katie, she appears to be wearing a tartan dress with a very long sweater over it, and a scarf around her neck (the scarf is black like the sweater, so it does look like it’s just part of the sweater, but if you look close, you can tell it’s a scarf.).

wow, now that is a case of “like mother, like daughter” as those two look exactly like each other! so cute. i also read elsewhere how suri doesn’t like to wear pants and even when her parents try to put like jeans or pants on her she takes them off and gets a dress on. no wonder we always see her in dresses. suri simply prefers them!

I went through a stage with my daughter where she would not wear pants. I look back and really miss those days now that she’s a pre-teen and some of what she wants to wear makes me cringe. ) Suri is a cutie.

I love these pictures …. they are too cute! Suri sure does have some cute dresses. I must say though I don’t understand the whole idea of a 2 1/2 year old telling her parents she “won’t” wear pants.
