I was happy when I heard this. I think they’ll be good parents. Gerard has been through a lot and he’s gotten over the ridiculousness of fame. He’s kicked drugs and alcohol, and he’s focused on what’s important. Of course, the kid will probably be named Batman Dracula Ballato-Way or something similar, but at least she’ll be loved.

Why would MCR (or MSI, for that matter) have to break up? It’ll probably be a bit weird with touring for both of them until the baby’s old enough, but there are plenty of musicians who have children and are still out there. And if anyone could do it, MCR and Lyn-Z can.

Early summer would fall under late june/ early july, so I don’t think it’s too soon to share the news. Lindsey should be about two or three months along by now.

And lol at Batman Dracula Ballato-Way. “This kid is gonna have one funky name” is one of the first things that came to my mind when I read this. But if it’s a girl I wouldn’t be surprised if Elena (Gerard’s late grandmother) was somehow incorporated into the name.

I am so Happy, though I would think his younger brother Mikey or Frank Iero owuld be the first MCR Dad, I am overjoyed nonetheless. AH! The First MCR Baby! I just hope this little bundle of joy doesn’t get in the way of their music. But either way, I’m so glad for them!! This is actually the second MCR baby. Ray Toro and his wife are parents to son Bauer. Also, there’s another MSI baby due in the summer, too. The other guitarist, whose name I cannot remember at the moment (sorry!) is also expecting a child. There was a notice on their site yesterday.

Words simply cannot express how I feel about this. It’s come as a shock, really… It’s mindblowing.
I wasn’t there to see Gerard grow up, or go through his first heartbreak, apply for his first job at that comic book store… No, I didn’t see any of that, but I feel like Donna herself. This overwhelming pride, yet the feeling that it’s all just happening so fast, and he really has grown up.

when i read this i almost started crying (tears of joy, of course)! i love MCR and im a fan of MSI, this is the greatest thing to ever happen to them. They make a wonderful couple and i wish them the best with their child. it will be the most beautiful child ever, hopefully they dont name it something weird like *uses celeb baby names*: Cocoa, Apple, Suri, Bronx, anything like that. i hope it has a normal name and a (as normal as possible) childhood life.
