I've been getting magnetic belts for my kids on Ebay for years now. My oldest boy is 7 and very slim. He is also autistic and one of his problems is that he does not have the strength in his hands to snap his pants after using the restroom. He likes the magnet belts because they are not loud like ripping velcro apart. The size range for a belt is also huge, the same belt fits all 3 of my kids, ages 13-4, and I even used one once when I couldn't find a belt of my own.

The thing that these belts are awesome for, more so than getting dressed, is potty training. Belts are often impossible to get off in time to prevent accidents, but the three year old I nanny can undo and redo his myself belt alone, which makes it possible to do the whole potty thing by himself. It's a great self esteem booster
