NYC Readers: Head to Macy's on Sunday and You May Hear a Who!

Courtesy Fox Home Entertainment

Macy’s Herald Square in Manhattan will be transformed this weekend, to celebrate the DVD and Blu-ray disc release of the animated movie Horton Hears a Who! The Mayor of Whoville will be on hand, and children will have the chance to partake in a fun-filled reading of the book before creating some holiday-themed arts and crafts. Afterward, stick around for the unveiling of the Macy’s windows and the lighting of the department store’s iconic Christmas tree! The fun all happens this Sunday, November 23rd, from 1:30-4 p.m. at Macy’s Herald Square, 151 W. 34th Street (at Broadway), in the Kids’ Department on the 7th Floor.

Dr. Seuss’ Horton debuts as a giant helium character balloon in the 82nd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and is serving as Macy’s Official Holiday Ambassador this year.

Did you see the movie with your kids? Will you get the DVD?
