Parenthood changes a person’s life immediately, so much so that sometimes they cannot remember what it was like before welcoming their new arrival! Actor Bradley Cole admits that he does not "even remember who I was before" he and wife Yasuko welcomed son Sean William two years ago. "It seems like we just got married yesterday and we turned around suddenly, here we are with a baby and have been married for three years," shared Bradley with Soap Opera Digest. Even though life is a little hectic now, Bradley would not change it for the world and has learned that "the great thing about being a parent is that you see your life flash before your eyes." He notes that, "You see your son growing up and you can sense that like, ‘Oh my God, I’m reliving my life in a way." As Sean grows up, the 49-year-old actor is enjoying watching his little boy change and learn.
"I just can’t wait for him to be able to — and I know I’m going to regret saying this — but to be able to talk with him. Because I hear that in about a year, we’re not going to be able to shut him up."
While Bradley waits for that time to come, he is constantly amazed at the amount of energy his son has, explaining that he feel bad for their downstairs neighbors because "we have hardwood floors and he’s just constantly running and jumping around all over the place. We even bought him a T-shirt that says, ‘Warning! I’m 2.’ Just so everybody is aware of that!" Sean’s energy knows no bounds, which became crystal clear to Bradley and Yasuko when they took him to his first toy store.
"Not just any toy store — we walked into the Times Square Toys ‘R’ Us! There’s a Ferris wheel and floor upon floor of toys of everything you could possibly imagine. Sean walked in and he looked like, ‘I just walked into planet heaven!’ He went crazy in there."
Bradley is currently preparing for more craziness at home — he and Yasuko are expecting their second child in February.
