YouCanMakeThis.com Digital Scrapbook Kits: Yes, You!

11/09/2008 at 06:00 AM ET

Hey crafty moms and wanna-bes!  A new service has come out with products that will help you create the cutest scrapbook pages quickly and without a lot of tape and scissors. YouCanMakeThis.com offers a large assortment of digital scrapbook kits that will help you whittle down that pile of photos you know you’re hoarding in boxes into those baby books you’ve been meaning to create for YEARS.  Brightly colored, trendy designs and very easy to use drag-and-drop pieces help you create pages in no time.  All that is required is photo editing software (I used the version of Adobe Photoshop that came with my PC) and digital images you supply.

I completed two pages with their Burst of Summer kit ($5) in about three hours and they look AWESOME! They actually look better than some the traditional cut and paste pages I’ve made a few weeks prior (but I’m not bitter). Once complete, I uploaded them to Snapfish for printing and viola!  I was done! After years of paper scrapbooking and issues with other digital sites forcing me to use their print services, it is nice to see a company that provides a product that is user-friendly and inexpensive. Heck, I may convert completely to digital (I just ordered their"Red, White & Blue and Glorious Autumn for later use).

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
