Gavin Rossdale Has 'So Much Fun' With Son

Andrade/Butterworth/Pacific Coast News

One of the perks of becoming a big brother is usually lots of one-on-one time with dad, 2-year-old Kingston James McGregor Rossdale has quickly learned. With mom Gwen Stefani busy at home with 10 ½-week-old Zuma Nesta Rock, Kingston has been regularly accompanying dad Gavin Rossdale on lunch dates — much to Gavin’s delight! "I have so much fun taking Kingston out for lunch," the 43-year-old musician tells PEOPLE. "It is something I look forward to on a regular basis."

The father-son duo have no spot in particular they like to frequent, because Kingston is so easy to please. "He really loves noodles," Gavin explains. "I think that has become his favorite food. We try to find new places to order them." As for Gwen, life with Zuma is sublime — even though, like most new moms, she continues to do most of the work herself. Says Gavin,

"Gwen is amazing with Zuma and does most everything while I just hang out. Even though we share responsibilities with the kids, Gwen definitely does more than I do."

Gavin and Gwen, 39, were married in 2002.

I really like how he gives Gwen credit. And very cute about the noodle lunches, so that’s why we see them out together so much.

My husband thought the exact same thing! When we had our second child (Nell), he had a blast taking our then 2 year old son Elijah to lunches, parks, museums, you name it!
Kingston is absolutely adorable.

Kingston is such a doll. He looks so much like his dad.

I love hearing Gavin talk about his kids! Not only is a good father sexy, but you can tell he really enjoys being a dad.
