Leah Wood and Jack Macdonald Expecting First Child

Singer and model Leah Wood and her television producer husband Jack Macdonald are expecting their first child together this coming spring, they’ve announced. Leah, who is the daughter of Rolling Stones band member Ronnie Wood, is said to be "over the moon," even though the 30-year-old or her husband "expected things to happen this quickly." A friend tells the Daily Mail,

"The wonderful news that they are having a baby couldn’t have come at a better time."

Leah’s mom Jo Wood shared that she is "absolutely thrilled to bits. Leah is my only daughter and now she’s due to be a mum herself. It is incredibly exciting that we will have two new babies in the family next year." Leah’s half-brother Jamie is also set to become a father a few weeks before his sister.

Leah and Jack were married on June 21st, 2008.

It’s really too sad considering her family issues with her father (and his 19 year old Russian lover). I hope her husband and mum give her lots of love during the pregnancy.

On Hello! magazine’s website (dated May 22), it states she had the baby last week sometime. It is a girl named Maggie Dylan. (Go to “Celebs” and scroll down to see the article.)
