Kate Moss: Lila is My 'Most Valued Treasure'

BIG PICTURES/Bauer-Griffin

Despite being a self-proclaimed "workaholic," Kate Moss is first and foremost a mother to her 6-year-old daughter Lila Grace, whom she lovingly refers to as her "most valued treasure." Describing herself as a "person who likes to live day by day," when it comes to the 34-year-old’s nighttime routine, Kate is not willing to compromise or change "the best part of the day" with Lila. "I kiss her goodnight and she’s so adorable. I try to spend as much time as I can with her," shares Kate.

Spending time together is both a priority for herself as much as it is for Lila, says Kate, who admits that the mother daughter pair "both seek each other out." With the close relationship that the two share, Kate — who’s "dream is for my daughter to be happy" and wants her to "grow up like a normal girl, far from fame" — realizes that her time away from home must be kept to a strict limit for the sake of Lila.

"The worst bit is when I have to leave and she asks me: ‘Why do you have to go?’ It’s very hard on her when I travel, which is why I’m never away more than two days."

Lila is Kate’s daughter with ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack.

You really shouldn’t post things about Kate Moss being mother until she actually acts like one. I doubt she’s kidding her daughter goodnight since she’s always out photographed stumbling out of clubs at 4 a.m. with powder in her nose.

It’s quite well-known that Lila’s grandparents are her caregivers. Kate needs to grow up for her child’s sake. I’m in my late 20′s living in NYC and I party a fraction of what she does…and I’m single without kids.
